On the song, Kristene said “I was sitting on my piano, and I was going through, like, a really bad writer’s block and I’m like banging on the piano and I’m just kinda mad. I’m like, ‘God, if You could say anything to anybody, what would You say?’ And He’s like, ‘Fear not. If I could say it any louder, I would.’ [Laughs]

And it was this funny moment with the Lord and I realized that if you could shout something to His church as a whole, it would be ‘Do not fear. Fear not. If I could say it any louder, I would. If you could just see things from my perspective, the fact that the battle is already won. The victory it yours. Now go take the land.’ I mean there’d be no room for fear.

It just kinda popped into my head, one of the verses ‘Let Me show you what I see. You can’t dream too big for Me. So get up, get on your way. We’ve got things to do today.’ Cause if we can leave fear behind, we can really do anything.”

 

 

"저는 피아노 앞에 앉아있었는데, 정말 힘든 창작의 고통을 느끼고 있었고 피아노를 두들기면서 화가 날 정도였어요. 그러면서 전 이랬어요, '하나님, 만약 당신이 어떤 말을 모두에게 공통으로 하실 수 있다면 뭐라고 하시겠어요?' 그리고 하나님은 이렇게 말씀하시는 것 같았어요. '두려워하지 말라, 내가 더 크게 말할 수 있다면 더 크게 말하리라.'

그 순간은 하나님과 보낸 굉장히 즐거운 시간이었고 하나님께서 모든 교회에게 말씀하신다면 그건 두려워하지 말라는 것, 하나님의 관점에서 바라보면 전쟁은 이미 이겼고 승리는 내 것이니 가서 땅을 차지하면 된다는 것이라는 걸 깨닫게 되었죠. 두려움이 있을 공간 자체가 없을 정도로요.

그 때 2절의 가사가 머릿속에 딱 떠오르게 되었어요. "내가 보는 걸 네게도 보여주게 해줘 / 나한테 너무 큰 꿈이란 건 없어 / 그러니 일어나 가야할 길을 가자 / 우리는 오늘 할 일이 있잖아." 우리가 두려움을 뒤로 한다면 정말 뭐든지 할 수 있으니까요. "
